Successful IBU Cup in Lenzerheide
The IBU Cup 2025 in Lenzerheide marked the end of an intense and successful biathlon year. For four days, the Roland Arena in Lantsch/Lenz was dominated by international biathlon – accompanied by good weather conditions, fair competitions and an atmospheric atmosphere.
After the mixed and single mixed relays on Wednesday, the sprint competitions followed on Friday. The sporting highlight was the mass start on Saturday with 60 athletes, which provided exciting duels and thrilling races. The compact starting field guaranteed intense competitions right up to the finish.
Free admission and the festival catering contributed to a relaxed, family atmosphere in the Roland Arena. The organising committee also drew a positive conclusion in terms of organisation. Feedback from the international community once again confirmed the high quality of Lenzerheide as a biathlon venue.
Following the Biathlon World Championships in February 2025, the IBU Cup also underlined the international significance of the Roland Arena. The focus is already on the future: in 2028 and 2030, Lenzerheide will once again host Biathlon World Cups – continuing its success story.
